Adlake Reliable Railroad Amber Glass Lantern - An Adlake Reliable railroad lantern featuring a C.B.&Q. R.R. stamped top lid, heavy wire frame with a wire bail handle, cage guard, and decorative flower-patterned base. The lantern houses an amber glass globe embossed ”ADLAKE KERO” and retains its internal burner assembly with wick. Constructed of metal and glass, it was manufactured by The Adams & Westlake Co. in Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia. The metal frame exhibits expected vintage surface patina, light rust, and age-consistent oxidation, while remaining structurally sound, and the amber globe appears complete with no visible cracks or chips.
