2 Woman's Bonnets c1830-1840 - Amazing that these hats have survived considering they are from 20-30 years before the Civil War. First we have a tulle day cap. Fragile but in very good condition. Black crown and ivory sides with very narrow strips of ribbon. Includes info on the original owner. Gertrude Angel's great grandmother, c1840. Second is a bonnet from 1830's. Not in the best condition but still wearable.
