3 - 1940's Dressing Gowns - These dressing gowns are for lounging or relaxing with that second cup of coffee at breakfast when hubby leaves for work. First, a bright, cherry red, side closure, dressing gown with a satin hood and braided, satin belt. Bell sleeves are lined in satin. Next, a cream color, satin and lace, front metal zipper dressing gown with beautiful lace insets and lovely puffed sleeves, with original satin belt. This one must have been part of a wedding trousseau and is in excellent condition. Unfortunately, the third dressing gown has multiple sheering in the lace and silk body. Very unusual sleeves.
