Bidspirit auction | Two 1920's Ladies Capes

Two 1920's Ladies Capes - These are both fine examples of 1920's outer wear for ladies of fashion. They are also called cocoon coats. The dark blue cape has a beautiful lining with a tiny pocket sewn inside. The wide collar is huge and missing a single button that would have held it closed. There is a raised stitching in a wave pattern, along the bottom and on the collar. The blue/green cape is unlined and has slits for your arms. It also has a wide collar. The Bakelite button is safety pinned on, waiting for a seamstress. Both capes need dry cleaning as they have been stored improperly. This said, they are in good condition for their age.
