MESCO Telegraph Sounder & Key - An early 20th-century telegraphy set featuring a brass sounder manufactured by the Manhattan Electrical Supply Company (MESCO) mounted on a finished wooden base, alongside an unmounted telegraph key assembly. Stamped ”MESCO” on the main arch frame and marked ”15 OHMS” on the underside of the wood base, this set represents classic turn-of-the-century American telecommunications equipment with heavy brass uprights, dual coils, and knurled adjustment screws. The items exhibit moderate to heavy age-appropriate wear, including dark patina and verdigris across the brass components, light surface oxidation on steel parts, and scattered scuffs; the wooden base shows evidence of historic alteration and extra mounting holes. H 3.25”, W 5”, D 4.5”. Please see photos for condition.
