WWII German Style M43 Panzer Field Cap (Feldmutze) - WWII German style M43 Panzer field cap (Feldmutze). Very good condition. Features a Totenkopf (skull and crossbones) insignia stitched onto the front panel. This design was issued to armored (Panzer) personnel during WWII including the SS. It has a short front visor and fold-down-side flaps secured by 2 buttons. There is a German eagle clutching a swastika stitched into the side. The eagle features outspread straight wings in the style of the Parteiadler or Heer / Waffen-SS. The silver or white piping denotes an officer’s (Offiziersmutze) rather than enlisted personnel. There is a 57 mark inside the cap. 10” front to back, 7” across, 3.5” deep. Please see photos.
