Frishmuth ”Jester and Two Owls” Vide-Poche Tray - Frishmuth ”Jester and Two Owls” Vide-Poche Tray, by American sculptor Harriet Whitney Frishmuth, cast by Gorham Manufacturing Company foundry in Providence, Rhode Island, this high-end pocket tray features a horned owl with wings spread over the textured basin of the bronze tray, a more whimsical, narrative combination of a court jester and guardian owls, stamped ”COPYRIGHT 1911”, ”HARRIET W. FRISHMUTH” and ”GORMAN CO. FOUNDERS Q.I.L.” one the back edge of tray, no visible cracks, chips or splits, rich patina with silvery/rubbed highlights, crisp markings, minor scuffs, small scratches, pinpoint oxidation spots, honest, surface weathering, very good condition, see photos.
