1940s Murray Steelcraft Pursuit Pedal Airplane - 1940s Murray Steelcraft Pursuit Pedal Airplane, produced by Murray-Ohio Manufacturing Company, features a specialized chain or rod link system that causes the front propeller to spin as the child pedals, built with heavy-gauge pressed steel, originally styled after WWII military fighter planes, has custom hand-painted lettering ”LilCapt. Benny Thudpucker”, original metal pedal crank and both black rubber foot pedals are intact, the seat floor pan is structurally solid, both wings are straight, horizontal stabilizers and vertical tail fin are straight, shows paint loss and chipping, no major dents or rust-through, light scuffing, dents and dings, small front propeller is present and spins, central nose cone shows minor pitting and chrome wear, landing gear struts are straight, tires show wear from use, missing the clear plastic windshield, has undergone modifications, fair, unrestored condition, ideal candidate for a complete restoration project! 47” x 36” x 26” This is a restorer's dream piece and a high-impact collector item.
