Company children's barber chair features an extremely rare and desirable carved wooden horse head mount on a porcelain-enameled pedestal base, manufactured in Chicago, Illinois, this whimsical early 20th-century piece boasts cast metal hardware, a filigree footrest, upholstered red leatherette seat and backrest, and porcelain-coated armrests, wear consistent with age and commercial use, including paint loss and chipping on the carved wooden horse head, surface rust and oxidation on the metal components, chipping/scuffing along the porcelain base ring, and fading, cracking, and surface breakdown on the red vinyl/leatherette seat cushion with no noticeable tears or breaks, hydraulics seem to function but after a pump or two automatically drop so may need attention, good vintage condition with normal age-related wear, see photos, 44”h x 19”w x 29”d Note: Pickup/Transport required.
