Vintage Planters Peanuts ”Football” Display Jar - Vintage Planters Peanuts ”Football” Display Jar, produced by Planters Nut & Chocolate Company during 1930s, used in general stores and soda fountains to showcase and dispense bulk snacks, known as the ”football” jar, rounded, bulging sides, narrow base, embossed ”PLANTERS” and ”SALTED PEANUTS”, features original glass lid topped with molded, peanut-shaped knob, ”MADE IN USA” incised on bottom, beautiful condition with one, tiny flea bite on inside rim, no cracks, shelf wear on base, very good condition, see photos. 9” x 7”
