WWI-era Westmoore 10' Wooden Airplane Propeller - WWI-era Westmoore Wooden Airplane Propeller, distinctive multi-layered wood lamination and darker protective fabric on the blade tips to prevent erosion, decals on both ends identifies this as an authentic WWI-era Westmoore Propeller Co, out of Chicago, IL, manufactured fixed-pitch wooden propellers primarily for military training aircraft during the late 1910s, surviving propellers with intact original decals are rare historical artifacts, typically engineered for Thomas-MorseS-4 Scout biplanes and Curtiss N-9 single-engine naval trainer floatplanes used by the US Navy, both decals remain intact, no major splitting or warping, surface scuffing, discoloration and weathering, center hub appears structurally sound with no visible delamination, severe cracks or dry rot around the bolt areas, in as-found condition, measures 10'5” long.
