WWII German SA Dagger Early Production 1933-1935 - WWII German Early Production (1933-1935) SA (Sturmabteilung) Dagger. Good condition, some scratches, very few dings on the blade. Hilt / Grip, (approximately 5” long lower pommel to Pommel Nut, 3” at widest point) on the lower crossguard on the back is the SA Regional Group Distribution Mark (Gruppe) Wsh which stands for SA-Gruppe Westsee (West See Region) headquartered in Altona / Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany, features a wooden grip with a small circular SA emblem / insignia logo type inset near the upper pommel crossguard and an eagle holding a swastika party style insignia inlaid in the center. The grip aligns with the crossguard profile. It has curved metal crossguards at both ends of the wooden handle. It is housed in a brown metal scabbard with a leather hanger clip used to attach it to a uniform belt to allow the dagger to dangle from the wearer's uniform belt, it includes a short brown leather strap with a small adjustment buckle, a suspension loop, and a spring loaded snap clip at the bottom.. There are grooved lines in the crossguards as accents. Blade fits tightly in scabbard. Maker's mark on the blade indicates P.D. Lunschloss in the ”City of Blades” Solingen Germany. The blade has acid etched Gothic script ”Alles fur Deutschland” (All for Germany). Blade is 8.75” long. Please see photos.
