WWII German D.F. 10x80 Flak Binoculars on Tripod - WWII German 10x80 Flakfernrohr anti-aircraft binocular set was manufactured by Schneider-Kreuznach, bearing the WWII German Ordnance maker code ”dkl” alongside a blue triangle cold-climate lubricant mark and X-stamp on the left prism housing. Crafted from cast aluminum alloy with a brass mounting bracket and rubber forehead rest, this classic 45-degree angled military glass sits atop a heavy-duty adjustable metal tripod. Condition is good overall showing expected field wear, significant paint loss, and surface oxidation to the metal components; optic glass is free of structural cracks, though internal balsam separation (”snowflake” crystallization pattern) is visible within the objective lenses, and mechanical elevation/azimuth movements are partially frozen requiring servicing.
