Polish Military Cavalry Helmet - Czapka or tschapka. Good condition, chin strap intact. Polish military eagle on front of blue cap. Originally worn by Polish Uhlans (Lancers). Cockade / Plume loop designed to hold a cockade, pompon, or tall feather plume is present on the top. Also on the top is a small insignia of a Polish Crowned Eagle which is a symbol of Polish national and military identity 8.5” tall, 8.5” square top, 9.5” front to back, 7.5” across.
