WWII Polish Armed Forces in the West Beret - Good condition. General Service khaki wool beret produced by the Grand'Mere Knitting Company Limited in 1945, size 61/2. Center main cap badge is the Polish Army Eagle (Orzel wojskowy). There is a stitched rank patch of 2 white / red horizontal bars indicating the rank of Lieutenant (Porucznik). There is also a orange and green pennant that identifies the officer as part of the Polish 2nd Corps (Drugi Korpus Wojska Polskiego), commamded by General Wladyslaw Anders during the Italian Campaign.
