Established in 1899 by the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) to recognize the military service and valor of loyal Confederate veterans. Strictly bestowed through the UDC to living veterans who had served honorably in the Confederate military forces. 2.5” long, 1.5” wide. 2, 2-WWII US Victory Medals. Good condition, 1 has a horizontal pin back closure, 1 has dual clutch back pins (”dammit” fasteners). Commemorates military service during WWII. Established by an Act of Congress 06Juky1945. Awarded to any member of the US Armed Forces (including the Philippine military forces) who served on active duty or as a reservist for at least 1 day 07Dec1941-31Dec1946. 3”-3.25” long, 1.5” wide. 3. US Army Good Conduct Medal. Good condition. Established by Executive Order 8809 signed by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt 28June1941. Awarded to any member of the US Armed Forces who served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater 07Dec1941 - 02March1946. 3” long, 1.5” wide. 5. WWII American Campaign Medal. Good condition. Established by Executive Order 9265 issued by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt 06Nov1942. Created to recognize members of the US Armed Forces who performed military service within the American Theater of Operations during WWII (07Dec1941-02March1946) inside the US - an aggregate of 1 year continuous service or of accumulated service within the continental US; outside the US - At least 30 consecutive days or 60 non-consecutive days of permanent duty outside the continental US but within the American Theater boundaries such as parts of Alaska, the Caribbean, or Latin America, Ocean / Air crews and Combat included.
