Awarded at a regional field championship (Feldmeisterschaft) in the municipality of Lutzeelfluh in the canton of Bern Switzerland. There is a maker's mark on the back Paul Kramer Neuchatel. 4.75” long, 2” wide. 2. 1966 Swiss Shooting Award Medal. Good condition. Reverse is stamped P KRAMER NEUCHATEL, maker's mark 5.5” long, 1.75” wide, 1.75” diameter. 3. Medal of the Union of Geneva to Switzerland Centenary (1814-1914), historical Swiss bronze commemorative award. Good condition. Celebrates the 100th anniversary of Geneva joining the Swiss Confederation as a canton in 1814 following the collapse of the Napoleonic empire. The back indicates this medal was struck for the youth of Geneva. The top bar is engraved with KRANZ-AUSZEICHNUNG (Wreath Distinction, these are awarded to participants who achieve a specific high score or points threshold rather then just the top 3 finishers. Has maker's mark PAUL KRAMER NEUCHATEL on back. Neuchatel is a historic watch making and micro-mechanics region in western Switzerland. Text on the top bar 75 JAHRE SCHUTZENGESELLSCHAFT ARTILLERIEVEREIN (75 Years Shooting Society and Artillery Association of Worb). Medallion text: JUBILAUMS SCHIESSEN WORB 1962 (Jubilee Shooting Tournament Worb 1962). Switzerland has a deeply rooted culture of communal clubs. The maker's mark on the back is P. Kramer Neuchatel. Maison Paul Kramer was a renowned Swiss mint founded in Neuchatel in 1917. The company operated independently until 1999 when it merged with Huguenin Medailleurs. Good condition. Awarded by the Feldschutzen Langnau (Field Rifle Club of Langnau in the Emmental region of Switzerland). Commemorating 200 Jahre (200 years) of the club 1762-1962. The Wreath Distinction is the highest standard tier of award given for achieving top tier competitive scores. Maker's mark on the back is Huguenin, Le Locle, founded 1868 by brothers Fritz and Albert Huguenin in Le Locle, starting with decorating pocket watches before expanding into coin-striking and high quality medals in 1888.. Today the factory operates as Faude & Huguenin SA. 5.75” long, 1.75” wide. 7. Emmental District Shooting Competition(Emmentalisches Landesschiessen). Good condition. Held in Konolfingen a municipality in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland in 1964. These medals are awarded to participants who achieve a qualifying score during Swiss canton or district shooting festivals. Maker's mark on the back is Paul Kramer Neuchatel. 4” long, 1.5” wide. 8. Swiss Shooting Award Medal (Schutzenmedaille) 1968. Good condition. Awarded at Hinterlander Schutzenfest at traditional regional shooting tournament held in the Lucerne Hinterland region of Switzerland in the town of Willisau located in the canton of Lucerne. Maker's mark on the back is Paul Kramer Neuchatel. There is a miniature handgun pinned to the ribbon on the front, a depiction of the famous SIG P210 IPistole 49 or P49), a 9mm semi-automatic pistol developed by Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft (SIG). This gun served as the primary standard issue sidearm for the Swiss Army from 1949-1975 when it as phased out. 4” long, 1.5” wide. Please see photos.
