Mason Pins, USMC Shooting, Hat Insignia - 1. Freemasonry 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Medal for Massachusetts Consistory 100th anniversary Class. Good condition. Referred to as a breast jewel worn pinned to a member's jacket during formal meetings and ritual assemblies. 5.5” long, 2” wide. 2. US Marine Corps (USMC) Basic Weapons Qualification Badge (M1937 Marksman Badge). Good condition. Top bar - U.S. MARINE CORPS. Qualification bars: MACHINE GUN, AUTO. RIFLE (automatic rifle such as Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR). and RIFLE. The pendant has the Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA). Introduced in 1937 and used throughout WWII and the Korean War era. Marks on back: Sterling is stamped on each bar. Maker's marks: N.S. Meyer, Inc. New York. 3” long, 1.5” wide. 3. Masonic Knights Templar Commemorative Medal. Good condition. Issued for the 26th Triennial Conclave in Boston Massachusetts Aug1895. Top bar has Joseph Warren Commandery K.T. (for Knights Templar). This is for a fraternal branch within the York Rite of Freemasonry., Lodge 26 in Roxbury Boston. Mail medal has Triennial Boston 1895Dr. Warren helped orchestrate the rides of Paul Revere and William Dawes (William Who Rode). Dr. Warren was commissioned as a Major General just 3 days before being killed at the Battle of Bunker Hill. He was also a Grand Master of the Masons in North America. 2” long, 1.75” wide. 4. US Hat Insignia. Good condition. Most likely used as a cap wreath from Civil War through the Indian Wars (late 1850s-1900). Laurel leaves to symbolize victory, triumph, and distinguished service. 2.5” long, 1.5” wide. 5. US Army Military Bandsman / Musician Visor Cap Badge. Good condition. Likely from the Indian Wars through the Spanish American War and early 20th century (late 1890s to WWII). Worn as a hat device on service dress, visor caps, kepis, or shakos. 2.5” long, 2” wide. 6. WWII US Navy Warrant Officer Combination Visor Cap Badge Insignia. Good condition. The specific design of crossed anchors without a backing shield pr flanking eagle was used extensively prior to and during WWII for US Navy Warrant Officers. 2” long, 1.75” wide. Please see photos.
