Cased Medals (5) Czech, US - 1. Miniature Replica Set of the Bohemian Crown Jewels (the coronation regalia of the Czech Kingdom). Good condition, in red box. Includes miniature versions of the Crown of Saint Wenceslas (commissioned in 1346 by Charles IV Holy Roman Emperor), the Royal Sceptre, and the Royal Orb (” Imperial Apple), both created in the 16th century for the Habsburg monarchs). Label inside box is PRAHA (Prague). The set pays homage to the most sacred historical treasures of Prague and the Czech nation traditionally kept under 7 keys in Saint Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle. Box 4” long, 3” wide, 1” tall. 2. Armed Forces Reserve Medal with dress uniform ribbon. Good condition in box. Established by President Harry S. Truman Executive Order 10`163 on 25Sep1950 to honor the dedication of personnel within the reserve components of the US military. To be awarded the basic Armed Forces Reserve Medal a service member must meet 1 of the following: 10 years of service within a 12 year window, subsequent 10 year milestones are denoted by adding an hourglass device to the ribbon; or Mobilization Device - under revisions introduced in 1996 the medal can be awarded regardless if time served if a reservist is involuntarily mobilized or volunteers for active duty, denoted by adding a bronze M device to the ribbon. This is a US Army Reserve version of the medal. Each branch has its own version of the medal. Good condition in box with text on top United States Air Force service Commemorative. Created to honor all Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers, and Airmen who have honorably served in the USAF, covers those who served from the founding of the modern Air Force branch 1947-present. Unofficial commemorative medal produced by private organizations or veteran initiatives not officially issued by the Department of Defense and thus cannot be worn on active duty military uniforms.
