Issued by the former government of South Vietnam (Republic of Vietnam) to recognize South Vietnamese military personnel, US service members, and allied foreign troops who served directly in the Vietnam War for at least 6 months. The 1960 bar was intended to show the dates of the war from start (1960) to finish when South Vietnam won the won but since South Vietnam fell in 1975 the ending year was left blank. 3.5” long, 1.5” wide. 3.
