US 1st Spec Forces & Foreign Green Beret Pair - This military headgear lot includes two vintage green berets: a US Army Special Forces Green Beret contract dated 1970 featuring a 1st Special Forces Group flash, Special Forces DUI pin, pair of metal Sergeant (E-5) rank chevrons, leather sweatband, and manufacturer marks for Dorothea Knitting Mills, Canada; alongside a foreign military or novelty commando green beret featuring an embroidered parachute patch with a central shield in red, white, and green, and a size 57 ink stamp. The color arrangement on the patch shield reflects the Hungarian national tricolor, but it does not match official Hungarian Defence Forces issue or 25th Airborne Battalion regulation insignia, making it likely a commercial, souvenir, or foreign commando variant. Both items show age-appropriate wear including leather rubbing, lining creasing, sweatband flaking on the foreign beret, metal patina, and minor wool surface wear. H 2”, W 9.75”, D 9.75”.
