WWII USGI Cutting & Wire Tool Lot (3) - An essential three-piece collection of WWII US military clearing and pioneer tools featuring an M-1942 machete, GI hand axe, and wire cutter set. The group is anchored by an 18-inch M-1942 machete with composite grips housed in its original canvas scabbard stamped ”U.S. M-1942” with integrated belt hook attachment. Accompanying the blade is a standard-issue GI hand axe/hatchet retaining original olive drab paint on the head, complete with its fitted canvas head cover. Completing the lot is a set of heavy steel wire cutters stored in their original snap-closure canvas belt pouch. All pieces exhibit honest WWII combat or field wear, including minor spot rusting, expected canvas discoloration, and light edge wear, maintaining excellent historical integrity throughout.
