US M1910 Campaign Hat & Theatrical Helmet - Featured in this lot are two distinct headpieces: an authentic US M1910 Campaign Hat manufactured by Campbell & Sons Mfg. Co. (Phila. Q.M. Depot) and a vintage theatrical Pickelhaube-style helmet featuring a movable visor and skull-and-crossbones insignia. The size 6 7/8 olive drab felt campaign hat retains its gold braided officer acorn cords, leather chin strap, and intact leather sweatband with crisp arsenal markings (”RECONDITIONED”, ”STOCK NUMBER 73-H-00242-0/8”, and ”HATS, SERVICE, O.D.”). The theatrical helmet features a black velvet-covered shell, brass top spike with leaf base, brass skull and crossbones emblem, hinged slotted visor, and crimson fabric lining. The campaign hat displays light surface soiling consistent with age and use but remains structurally sound with an exceptionally clean sweatband. The theatrical helmet shows minor edge wear to the velvet, with a partially detached fabric liner that remains complete and easily restorable. M1910 Campaign Hat: H 6”, W 11.75”, D 13”.
