Antique Telescope, Parker Pen & Rope Tool - This curated collection of turn-of-the-century artifacts features a multi-draw brass maritime-style telescope and a sophisticated Parker ”Lucky Curve” No. 2 fountain pen, boasting iridescent mother-of-pearl slabs and ornate gold-filled bands—a luxury design from the Edwardian era. The set is anchored by a specialized metal rope-making tool with a distinctive open-work hilt, a pair of wire-rim spectacles in a velvet-lined case, and a decorative silver-tone match safe. Notable ephemera includes a 1905 Harper's History Club receipt from Chicago and an 1898 Austrian bronze medal commemorating the ”Freedom Fighters of 1848.” The items exhibit a desirable aged patina; the rope tool shows honest oxidation and the spectacles case has external scuffing. While the telescope's brass retains a deep luster, the internal optics are currently cloudy and unclear. H 1.5”, W 17.5”, D 1.5”
