1892 RNC Ribbon & T. Roosevelt Button - A historic pair of late 19th and early 20th-century political memorabilia highlighting pivotal moments in Republican Party history. Included is an original 1892 Republican National Convention delegate ribbon for Maine, worn at the Minneapolis convention, featuring a tricolor rosette, metallic thread fringe, and gilded lettering. Paired with it is a celluloid pinback button depicting ”Colonel Theodore Roosevelt” in his Rough Rider campaign hat, manufactured by The Whitehead & Hoag Co. of Newark, New Jersey, with an advertising backer insert for the National Equipment Co. of New York.
