Antique Military & Fraternal Medals Lot (7pcs) - Collection of late 19th and early 20th-century badges features a remarkable array of marksmanship awards and fraternal regalia, primarily centered on Pennsylvania and New York military history. The lot includes a 1906–1911 US Expert Rifleman medal with multiple year bars, a Pennsylvania National Guard (NGP) ”Marksman’s Badge” dated 1895, and a multi-year ”First Class” marksman badge with pendant bars from 1897 to 1902. Fraternal interest is represented by a Knights of Pythias ”FCB” (Friendship, Charity, Benevolence) medal featuring a knight’s helmet and crossed axes, professionally engraved to ”C.W. Nessler.” Also included is a Civil War-themed Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) souvenir ribbon featuring a detailed battlefield scene on a celluloid button. These pieces are crafted from brass, bronze, and sterling silver (as seen on the Inter-Regimental Match pin). Condition varies across the lot; the metal components show a handsome aged patina with some oxidation and surface wear consistent with age, while the large GAR ribbon is in poor condition with shattered silk and loose threading.
