WWII US Collar and Cap Insignia - 1. US Service Visor Cap Insignia. Good condition. US Army adopted the Great Seal in 1902. 1.5” diameter, 0.75” tall. 2.2-US Army Enlisted Collar Insignia Disc(s). Good condition 1 without clutches. Both have S and 38 on the back. This is a maker's mark assigned by the US Army Institute of Heraldry. These are likely Vietnam era. 1” diameter, 0.5” tall. each. 3. WWII Military Brass Collar Button / Lapel Pin featuring a Crossed Swords Design. Good condition. Design is associated with the Cavalry branch of the military. There are early style double clutches. 4. US Army Forces (USAAF) enlisted branch of service collar disc. Before the US Air Force became an independent branch in 1947 it operated under the US Army as the Army Air Corps and later the Army Air Forces. Based on the marking on the back S-38 this is a post WWII disc. 1” diameter, 0.5” tall. 5. US Army Infantry Badge Insignia Collar Disc. Good condition. Has the crossed Springfield muskets which has officially represented the US Army Infantry branch since 1924. The S-38 stamped on the back is assigned to manufacturer The Supply Room. 1” diameter, 0.5” tall. 6. WWII US Army Air Forces (USAAF) enlisted service collar disks. Good condition. The US is worn on the right and the Prop and Wings ar worn on the left. Each are 1” diameter and 0.5” tall. 7. US Army Infantry uniform collar discs. Good condition. The US goes on the right side and the crossed rifles (branch insignia for the Infantry) go on the left. Each are 1” diameter and 0.5” tall. Please see photos.
