WWII USGI Entrenching Tools Pair - This fine two-piece GI field gear set includes an M-1910 T-handle entrenching shovel and an M-1910 pick-mattock, both paired with clear, wartime-dated canvas carriers. The T-handle shovel is fitted with a heavy olive drab cotton canvas cover featuring crisp contract markings stamped ”W.L. DUMAS MFG. CO. 1943” with intact metal belt attachment hardware. The accompanying pick-mattock includes its two-piece wooden handle, forged head, and heavy canvas head carrier clearly stamped ”OF KANSAS CITY 1944” (Baker-Lockwood Tent & Awning Co.) along with a prominent ”U.S.” stencil. Both pieces show authentic wartime field use, light surface oxidation, and minor canvas age toning while remaining completely intact and structurally sound. Dimensions for the shovel are H 22.5”, W 7.25”, D 2”, and the pick-mattock measures H 23”, W 4”, D 4”. Please see photos for condition.
