Vintage Ordnance & Practice Shell Lot (4) - This four-piece militaria grouping features a WWII-era U.S. Navy-style 35-inch turned wood dummy training round—traditionally used for deck gun crew loading drills—equipped with a heavy cast metal base cap and silver-painted driving band. The lot also includes a secondary 11.25-inch turned wood practice shell along with two inert 37mm brass artillery casing shells measuring 6.25 and 6.75 inches in length, both displaying clear headstamps on their brass bases. Items show overall age-appropriate surface wear, including scuffs, finish crazing, and light tarnish to the brass bases; the large wooden training shell exhibits a notable longitudinal split that has been previously repaired.
