Third Reich Military Presentation Goblet - Third Reich Military Presentation Goblet (Ehrenbecher / Silberbecher) awarded for a marksmanship or shooting competition. Very good condition with some scratches inside. Insignia is a Luftwaffe style eagle clutching a swastika. The interior has a gold-gilt lining. Text in English is Prize of the 10th (Sea) Squadron / Lehrgeschwader 2 over Pistol. This floatplane unit was formed as a specific maritime reconnaissance squadron involved in testing early operational models of the Arado Ar 196 at the coastal test facility in Travemunde. 5.5” tall, 3.25” diameter top, 2.25” diameter bottom.
