Korean War US Military M-1951 Field Parka Jacket - US Military Korean War era M-1951 field parka with removable liner and fur-trimmed hood, manufactured by L. W. Foster Sportswear Co., Inc. and marked for the U.S. Marine Corps Depot of Supplies with a March 16, 1951 contract date. Constructed of heavy olive drab cotton canvas with a Talon aluminum zipper, snap closures, and a button-in wool/alpaca liner tagged as Size Large fitting a chest size of 40 to 43.9 inches. Shows age-appropriate wear including several small tears and open holes on the front canvas, a visible blue-underlaid repair near the right shoulder seam, and light soil spots, though the fabric remains sturdy overall with intact fur trim.
