WWII Fort Sill Field Artillery Air Binder - This historic WWII-era military archive binder contains an extensive collection of personal handwritten notes, restricted department memoranda, technical equipment orders, and aerial reconnaissance training materials from the Field Artillery School, Department of Air Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, dating from 1942 through 1944. The black textured cloth cover binder belongs to Lt. N.R. Shoman and holds typed War Department circulars, supply requisition notes, mooring instructions with printed diagrams, and stereovision photo-interpretation sheets detailing Italian campaign targets. The outer binder displays light shelf wear, edge fraying, and minor corner loss, while the internal paper contents show age-related toning, occasional edge tears near punch holes, and light handling soil, though all handwritten script and printed text remain fully legible.
