Victor VI Aftermarket Mahogany Record Cabinet - Stunning double door mahogany disc record cabinet sold as an aftermarket accessory for the Victor VI outside horn phonograph. All four corners feature fluted columns with gold capitals and bases that perfectly match the corners of the Victor VI. The cabinet is supported on four 6” cabriole legs. The doors open on each end and reveal a two tier vertical slotted wood storage rack that holds at least 30 and probably up to 100 disc records on each side. There is a key for the door locks. The finish seem to be original with the top possibly having an overcoat and a French polish but presents very well. A similar cabinet is pictured on page 187 of Fabrizio / Paul Antique Phonograph Accessories & Contraptions. Measures 35”tall, 23” wide, 29” deep. From the William Kocher collection.
