Victor Victrola VV-50 Phonograph Circa 1924 - This classic Victor Victrola Model VV-50 portable hand-crank phonograph was manufactured in 1924 and features a mahogany-cased cabinet complete with its original nickel-plated hardware, tonearm, and internal horn mechanism. Produced by the Victor Talking Machine Co. of Camden, New Jersey, this unit includes its original ID plate bearing serial number 105447 and a retail stamping from ”Adam Schaaf, Chicago”. It comes accompanied by a protective dark leatherette transport case with purple fabric lining; the outer case has kept the underlying mahogany cabinet in nice, clean condition. The unit is operational with clear audio output. Overall condition is good, showing minor surface scuffs to the wooden casing, faint oxidation to nickel fittings, and age-appropriate wear to the handle and exterior of the leatherette carrying case.
