Bausch & Lomb Model 121 Wye Level - This is a professional-grade Bausch & Lomb Model 121 Wye Level, a pinnacle of early 20th-century American engineering originating from Rochester, NY. Dated approximately 1910–1912 (Serial No. 8852), this ”Triple Alliance” instrument features a 21-inch painted aluminum telescope tube and precision brass components. The set is housed in its original mahogany transport case, which includes internal wooden blocks and mounting brackets for secure storage. The instrument exhibits an authentic field-worn patina; the telescope's painted finish shows significant discoloration and wear, and two leveling screw caps are noted replacements. The mahogany case is structurally sound but shows surface scuffs, a leather handle detached at one end, and lacks the original key for the lock. H 7”, W 21”, D 10.75”.
