St. Nicholas Santa Claus Cabinet Card - Vintage St. Nicholas / Santa Claus Cabinet Card Photo This exceptional late 19th to early 20th-century studio cabinet card photograph captures a wonderfully detailed Victorian depiction of St. Nicholas, Kris Kringle or Father Christmas posed beside a rooftop chimney set piece. Dressed in a fur-trimmed robe with a holly wreath in his hair, Santa is laden with traditional period toys, including a porcelain-headed doll, a drum, and a jumping jack marionette figure. The photographic image itself remains remarkably crisp and clear with rich sepia tones, though the heavy card mount exhibits severe condition issues, including edge breaks, checking, heavy creases, corner rounding, and significant backing paper loss with adhesive tape residue on the reverse side.
