Vintage Magnecoil Hipowr Quack Medical Kit - An early 20th-century electrotherapy kit manufactured by The Magnecoil Co., Inc. of Salt Lake City, Utah, featuring a 1923 patent marking and a December 28, 1920 patent date on the General Electric separator plug. The set showcases an Art Deco Southwestern plaid motif fleece exterior with a detailed paisley fabric interior lining. Included in the kit are a pair of booties, a smaller rectangular pad section, a large blanket, cloth-wrapped power cords, a General Electric three-way separator plug (CAT. GE 2295), and a plug with a bulb and protective wire coil cage. Objectively, the textile elements are in stable condition with minor light staining and surface dust from storage. The wiring shows age-appropriate wear, specifically minor abrasion to the cloth insulation near the separator plug, though the cord assembly remains complete and intact.
