Williams Dial Medical Battery Quack Device - This fascinating early 20th-century electro-medical apparatus is an excellent example of a Williams Dial Battery, manufactured by the Williams Electro-Medical Battery Co. at 82-84 West Broadway, New York. Housed in its original quarter-sawn oak carrying case with nickel-plated latches and a top handle, the device features a beautifully preserved marbleized faceplate, a detailed central dial, a wooden storage compartment lid, and its original paper instructions affixed inside the lid. Included with the unit is a collection of its original medical accessories: three cylindrical hand electrodes, two insulated sponge applicators, a foot plate, and a green fabric-covered connecting cord. The piece presents in very good vintage condition with minor surface scuffs, light oxidation to the metal hardware, and gentle discoloration to the paper instruction sheet, consistent with age and careful handling.
