Antique Döbereiner Platinum Lighter - This 19th-century German Biedermeier-era Döbereiner platinum lighter represents an exceptional example of early chemical technology. The clear glass body features an elegant, distinct etched pattern, crowned with its authentic brass-mounted mechanical top valve mechanism and corresponding internal glass tube assembly. Objectively, the piece stands in good antique condition, exhibiting expected age-related oxidation and verdigris on the brass elements, slight residue inside the glass chamber, and minor surface abrasions, while preserving excellent structural integrity without any significant cracks or chips.
