Glass Magic Lantern Slides Russo-Japanese War - This collection of 15 antique glass magic lantern slides depicts military scenes, portraits, and naval engagements, largely focused on the Russo-Japanese War (circa 1904–1905), along with depictions referencing the Boer War (”Buren Krieg”) and China. Produced in Germany, as evidenced by the German inscriptions throughout, these hand-colored glass slides feature bright paper borders and dramatic battle illustrations showcasing naval fleets, ground troop maneuvers, and key military leaders. Overall condition is fair to good given age; glass shows light surface dust, scattered scratches, and edge wear to the red paper borders, with one slide notably having a broken glass section along its top edge.
