1/4 Plate Dagguereotype of 2 ID'd Women - 1/4 plate horizontal hand tinted Daguerreotype of 2 women mounted with an oval matte in a case with missing cover. The matte is stamped G. Page Meriden. Page operated a studio in Meriden Connecticut between 1856 and 1858. A hand written note beneath the dag reads, Right. Frances Martina Coe wife of William L. Bradley. Grandmother of William L. Bradley 2nd. Left. Mrs. Charles C. Coe (Aunt Nellie) Mother of Rositor (?) L. Coe. William L. Bradley was the founder of the famous decorative metal working firm, Bradley & Hubbard. Dag is in VG condition. Case is missing the cover. Seals are not intact. See photos. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
