1/9 Plate Cased Daguerreotype With Note & Hair - 1/9 plate Dag of a pretty young girl in VG condition mounted in a leatherette case with intact hinge from C.V. Allen Daguerreotypist 258 1/2 Washington St.(Boston Mass.). There are no seals on the image. Behind the image is a hand written note dated Nov 20th, 1856 presumably to her beau with a lock of her hair. See photos. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
