Antique Quack Medical Battery Quire Box - An intriguing late 19th to early 20th-century turn-of-the-century quack medical apparatus housed in an oak wooden case with brass hardware, featuring double-hinged top and bottom access compartments. The underside opens to reveal the internal electro-therapeutic induction coil mechanism with nickel-plated cylinder shield and adjustment components, while the top lid houses a metal plate, tubular electrode accessory, an original mounted instruction label for a ”Single Cell Medical Battery”, and an accompanying booklet titled ”Medical Electricity at Home” by O. G. Tradewell.
