Vintage General Electric OZONATOR unit #3570 Early - An early 20th-century General Electric Ozonator Type A-2 air purifier, manufactured in Schenectady, New York. This rare piece of early electrical medical/home apparatus features a dark finished wooden base housing the internal transformer components, topped with a black painted metal housing carrying an embossed GE monogram emblem and a brass identification tag marked ”OZONATOR / NO. 3570 CAT. 129867 / TYPE A-2 FORM A-4 / AMP 1.25 VOLTS 106-114 CYC. 60 / GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. / SCHENECTADY, N.Y. U.S.A.” The unit features original cloth-wrapped power wiring, a surface-mounted rotary switch, and a ceramic plug connector. The machine shows overall light surface dust, minor scuffs and finish wear to the wood cabinet, and mild oxidation/paint wear on the metal cover; untested. H 12”, W 10”, D 12”.
