Vintage Magic Lantern Projector - This fascinating 19th-to-early-20th-century magic lantern optical projector features a classic tinplate and brass construction, complete with a prominent top chimney and a front projection lens barrel designed for early educational and parlor slide presentations. The body retains its original black-painted finish highlighted by decorative trim around the chimney base and edge. Objectively, the piece is complete with its internal oil wick burner mechanism and clear internal glass components, showing expected surface wear including paint loss and fading across the black body, along with minor broken spot welds on the top decorative edging that do not detract from its antique character or structural integrity.
