Vintage Souvenir Books, Lot of 4 - This collection of turn-of-the-century souvenir softcover photo booklets includes ”Souvenir of Columbus” (published exclusively for F.M. Kirby & Co., copyrighted 1903 by J. Murray Jordan, Philadelphia), ”The St. Louis Exposition 1904”, ”Souvenir of Wheeling” (published for J.G. McCrory & Co., copyrighted 1905 by L.H. Nelson Co., Portland, Maine), and ”Lima and Its Points of Interest” (1896, New York Commercial Publishing Co.). Crafted from printed cardstock covers and soft paper pages containing historical view illustrations and local history descriptions, these booklets represent classic turn-of-the-century civic souvenir production. Condition is fair to good overall; the Wheeling, St. Louis Exposition, and Columbus booklets show light surface toning and edge wear with tight bindings, while the Lima booklet shows heavy edge wear, chipping, light staining, and detached cover boards.
