Constructed with a dark painted sheet metal lamp chimney, ornate cast decorative trim, a fitted wooden base, and an adjustable brass objective lens extension barrel, this classic optical lantern has been adapted for modern convenience with an early electric light socket and cord set. The unit exhibits age-appropriate surface wear throughout, including minor scuffing, paint loss, light oxidation, and natural tarnish across the brass components, yet remains visually complete and fully operational when plugged in.
