Constructed with a heavy dark molded base, original brass binding posts, adjustable tension springs, and dual vertical coil electromagnets. The top features a metal identification plate stamped ”W. U. TEL. CO. MORSE RELAY 4-B 150-OHM,” while the underside reveals historic repair markings including ”REPAIRED H. THAU” and ”N.Y.R.S. 4 1927.” The piece exhibits expected vintage condition with a rich patina and minor oxidation across the brass hardware, faint surface scratches and light wear along the base edges, and intact underside wiring; operational functionality remains untested.
