G.E. Glass Battery Jar - This early 20th-century antique wet cell battery jar, manufactured by General Electric Company (GE Co. USA), features a heavy aqua-tinted glass cylindrical base embossed with the iconic GE monogram logo alongside its original white glazed porcelain top lid marked with positive (+) and negative (-) terminal indicators. Commonly utilized in early telegraph, telephone, and railroad signal applications, this piece represents early 20th-century industrial electrical infrastructure technology. Condition shows age-appropriate wear including surface grime, staining, and discoloration to the ceramic cap, light internal residue, and minor surface wear, with a significant structural crack visible on one side of the glass body near the rim.
