Antique Machinist Precision Inclinometer Pair - This exceptional pair of antique precision machinist spirit levels, complete with their protective metal covers, showcases 19th to early 20th-century American craftsmanship. Both instruments feature brass top plates over heavy ebony or darkened hardwood bodies, with one explicitly stamped ”A. CONSTABLE” on the wooden base. The vials are intact with functional spirit fluids, and the brass retains a warm patina throughout. Objectively, the pieces exhibit minor age-appropriate surface wear, slight scratches on the brass plates, and light oxidation on the fitted metal protective sheaths, but remain in remarkably sound condition overall.
